If you enjoyed Janet Laird-Lagassee’s workshop on Sketching as a Foundation for Painting last month and would like more, or you were unable to attend the first workshop, this is an opportunity to learn more from Janet. The first workshop focused on sketching supplies and Janet showed slides of a number of her sketches to illustrate her points. This workshop will focus on composition, such as what elements make a painting interesting, where does the eye go, what should be included or eliminated, and students will spend most of the workshop sketching from still life, real life, or reference photos. The workshop costs $150. Take the opportunity to learn from an award-winning watercolor artist! The skills taught can be applied to any medium.
